Mike Bonner

Head Football Coach

Coach Bonner joins the Carolina Cobras with 13 years of experience that spans several leagues, including the IFL, CIF, LSFL, and APFL. Coach Bonner served as the Senior Offensive Analyst and Wide Receivers Coach for the Green Bay Blizzard of the Indoor Football League during most recently, the 2023 season and also in 2015. In 2013, he was the Defensive Backs Coach for the Laredo Rattlesnakes of the LSFL, where the team fell to the Amarillo Venom in the final seconds of a thrilling LSFL Championship game. He has also worked in game day operations for the Omaha Nighthawks of the United Football League (UFL) in 2010. Coach Bonner currently lives in Charlotte, NC where he is a Flight Attendant and New Hire Instructor for Piedmont Airlines.

Fred Price

Asst. Head Coach/Special Teams Coordinator/Strength and Conditioning

Frederick Price has been coaching football at various levels since 2015. He has worked with Coach Negron for 6 of those 8 years. He has a passion for the game and takes great pride in pushing athletes to their maximum potential. Coach Price is a pillar in the Greensboro community serving as Owner Operator of Absolute Fitness. During his athletic career he has competed in numerous bodybuilding competitions. His strong passion for fitness & sports in general is undeniable. He is a Certified Fitness Coach and is AED/CPR Certified. He was named Assistant Head Coach and the Cobras Strength and Conditioning Coach for 2024. He will reprise that role in 2025 to include duties as the Special Teams Coordinator.

Daron Clark Jr.

Offensive Coordinator

Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Coach Clark played college football at Stillman College in Tuscaloosa, Alabama from 2004 to 2008. Clark was invited to Cleveland Browns NFL minicamp in 2009. Clark played for the New York Sentinels of the UFL in 2009. Clark signed to the Montreal Alouettes of the CFL in 2010 & won the Grey Cup Championship. In 2011 Clark signed to the Orlando Predators of the AFL. Clark played 9 seasons in the Arena/Indoor leagues where he played in 5 championship games with 3 Championship wins. For 2024 Clark signed to be the Head Coach and General Manager for the Cedar Rapids River Kings of the American Indoor Football League (AIF). where he also served as the team's offensive play caller.

Michael Vogel

Offensive Line/Defensive Line Coach

Coach Michael Vogel comes to the Carolina Cobras as the OL/DL coach for 2025. Coach Vogel has over 16 years of football coaching experience in the Piedmont Triad, and he is a currently an EC teacher at High Point Central High School. Coach Vogel emphasizes fundamentals, strong work ethic and the importance of teamwork. He has a strong belief in building a positive team culture where players are encouraged to grow both on and off the field ultimately becoming the best versions of themselves. Coach Vogel is also blessed to have his beautiful wife Nissa, son Finn and daughter Eleanor along for this amazing journey.
