Billy Back

Head Coach

Back comes to the Carolina Cobras after a 6 year coaching career and a 6 year playing career. As a coach, Back was most recently the head coach of the Wichita Falls Nighthawks in 2016. In 2014 a head coach for the Nashville Venom, Texas Revolution (2012-2013), Cincinnati Commandos (2009-2012). Back's best coaching experience was with the Cincinnati Commandos as heach coach. Back  won three championships and a perfect 12-0  season in 2011. During his time in Cincinnati , Back coached two league MVP's, two offensive Player's of the year, a Co-Definsive Player of the year and was named Co-Coach of the year in 2010. Back's playing career was similair to his coaching career. In 2006 he played in and led the NIFL in All-Purpose yards while being named the League's Player of the Week on three seperate occasions. Billy Back attended Miami-University of Ohio and was inducted into the Miami University Athletic Hall of Fame for his time there as a student athlete.
